Creighton Listed in Kiplinger’s ‘Best Value’ Publication
Creighton University is listed as one of the nation’s ‘best value’ private institutions for delivering a high-quality education at an affordable price in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance annual rankings. Creighton is ranked 42 in the top 100 list of private universities appearing in the Dec. 10 issue, available on newsstands Nov. 9.
The rankings are based on academic quality and affordability—with quality accounting for two-thirds of the total.
“We understand that quality education is a major investment for both the student and family. As good financial stewards, we are focused on keeping Creighton affordable for all, while providing a quality education that prepares our students to be citizens of the world,” said the Rev. John P. Schlegel, S.J., Creighton president.
The academic profile of Creighton’s freshman class places the University among the top 10 Midwestern private universities with enrollments of about 4,000 and among the top 10 Catholic universities in the nation. More than 90 percent of Creighton students receive some form of financial aid.
