Quinn named Creighton Assistant Dean for Admissions
Thomas Quinn, Ph.D., has been appointed assistant dean for admissions for the Creighton University School of Medicine.
A professor of anatomy and surgery and director of the Clinical Anatomy Master’s Program in Creighton’s Department of Biomedical Sciences, Quinn has been a member of the University’s faculty since 1977. As assistant dean, he will be responsible for directing and managing the Office of Medical Admissions with a primary purpose of selecting and recruiting highly qualified and diverse medical school students for Creighton.
Quinn has been recognized frequently for teaching excellence by students and faculty alike. He has earned the prestigious Golden Apple teaching award from medical students six times. School of Medicine faculty members have selected him to receive the Dedicated Teacher Award and the Distinguished Continuing Medical Education Award.
