Creighton Legal Clinic Honored for Outstanding Community Service

Faculty, staff and students from Creighton University’s Milton R. Abrahams Legal Clinic will receive the first annual Inex Fitz Community Service Award at the “Toast to Fair Housing Event,” at 6 p.m., April 29, at the Swanson Conference Center at Metropolitan Community College. The award is being presented by the Fair Housing Center of Nebraska.

The Creighton University Law School dedicated its legal clinic in 1993 and in 1999, the clinic was rededicated as the Milton R. Abrahams Legal Clinic. The clinic, along with a second clinic, the Community Economic Development Law Clinic, provides service to the community and gives Creighton law students an opportunity to sharpen their legal skills and gain legal experience.

Creighton University is a Jesuit, Catholic university bridging health, law, business and the arts and sciences for a more just world.
