Creighton Appoints Director of Admissions and Scholarship

Sarah Richardson has been named director of admissions and scholarships at Creighton University effective Aug. 1. Richardson recently served as associate director of the office of undergraduate admissions at Fordham University in New York. She has worked in various admissions positions since 2002, when she started her career at Drake University, Des Moines, Ia.

“Sarah’s Jesuit University experience, Midwest ties, exposure to recruiting a national student population and managing a team with enthusiasm is what makes her a fantastic addition to Creighton’s admissions office,” said Mary E. Chase, associate vice president for Enrollment Management.

Richardson holds a Master of Science in Education, Educational Leadership, Administration and Policy from Fordham and a bachelor’s degree in public relations and business administration from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Ia.

As director of admissions and scholarship, she will supervise members of the admissions team who work with students, faculty and staff to attract and retain students who are enrolled in the undergraduate schools and colleges at the University.

Creighton University is a Jesuit, Catholic university bridging health, law, business and the arts and sciences for a more just world.
