Creighton University’s speech and debate team won the first ever Collegiate Public Forum National Debate Tournament at Butler University in Indianapolis, Ind. Feb. 25-27.
Sarah Wolnisty, freshman, and Westin Miller, sophomore, finished first with Tiffanesha William and Landon Ross, both juniors, advancing to the semi-final round, guaranteeing the Creighton team the national championship trophy. Creighton also won overall sweepstakes at the tournament.
