Creighton University’s Lied Art Gallery Hosts Kent Bellows Studio Mentoring Art Exhibit

An opening reception for Archipelago, an art exhibit presented by the Kent Bellows Studio & Center for Visual Arts at Creighton University’s Lied Education Center for the Arts, will be held at 5 p.m. March 2, in the Lied Art Gallery at Creighton. The exhibit runs through April 4.The gallery is free and open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

Archipelago localizes the different work of The Kent Bellows Studio mentors and demonstrates the power of the group through individual voices. Each exhibiting mentor dedicates themselves to the development of young artists while also seeking achievement in their own work. The exhibition features a broad range of media and methods, and reveals a glimpse into the creative momentum of The Kent Bellows Studio mentor community. Exhibiting artists include:

Pam Conyers-Hinson, Matt Jones, Jamie Hardy, Weston Thomson, Peter Cales, Gabrielle Gaines-Liwaru, Alex Myers,  Aaron Price, Steve Walsh, Amy Nelson, Laurie Sewell, Dan Richters.

The Kent Bellows Studio strives to ignite the creative spark in individuals, encouraging them to reach their highest potential through self expression in the visual arts by collaboration with the metro area's top visual artists to mentor its students.
