This Bracket Puts Creighton in Final Four

Another View of March Madness: Student-Athlete Graduation Rates

Much of the country is obsessed with March Madness---watching hour after hour of basketball. Creighton fans are no exception but the University’s bragging rights extend to the classroom as well as the court.

As an athletic department, Creighton currently holds, for the fall semester 2011, a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.38 – the highest ever.

A Washington Post blog post on March 13, compared the colleges and universities heading to the NCAA and their graduation rates for student-athletes and that bracket analysis puts Creighton in the Final Four.
