The Creighton University Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present “Celebrating the Season of Warmth and Joy,” a concert by the University Symphonic Band and Orchestra at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Lied Education Center for the Arts, Mainstage located at 24th and Cass Streets.
Admission is free with a canned food donation benefiting the Siena/Francis House.
The performance will include “Esprit de Corps” by Robert Jager, “Emperor Waltzes” by Johann Strauss Jr., “Poet & Peasant Overture” by Franz von Suppe, “Four Scottish Dances” by Malcom Arnold and a series of holiday selections.
The concert is made possible by the Richard and Mary McCormick Endowment Fund for Fine and Performing Arts and an anonymous source.
