Creighton Student Takes First Place at Regional Singing Competition

Creighton University junior Chelsey Hill of Omaha, was awarded first place in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Nebraska Mid-Central Regional Competition held on the campus of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nov. 2-3.

More than 400 singers from universities throughout Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming competed. Chelsey was named winner of the Division 16-WB, the Upper Level Women's Musical Theatre Division.

Hill won first place at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Nebraska State Competition held Oct. 5, at Hastings College.
