Creighton Dance Presents Lively Ballet for Fall Production

The Creighton University Dance Company and Department of Fine and Performing Arts will present “Vive Paris,” a lively ballet set on the shores of the Seine River. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28, 29, 30 and Dec. 1, and at 2:00 p.m. on Dec. 2.

Tickets are $18, seniors are $15, and student, faculty and staff are $5.

The performance is directed by Patrick Roddy, the department dance coordinator, who along with dance faculty member Patti Zukaitis helped choreograph the production.

Special guest choreographers are Sandra Organ Solis and Maya Taylor B.F.A.

Solis is a former principal dancer with the Houston Ballet and director of "Earthen Vessels" Dance Company in Houston, Texas. Taylor is a former company member of Elisa Monte Dance and is the director of Maya Taylor Dance in Omaha.
