Creighton Faculty Member Co-authors Award Winning Medical Book

The British Medical Association (BMA) recently released its annual list of medical book awards. In the radiology category the text book, Diagnostic Imaging: Pediatrics, published by Amirsys Publishing, Inc., received a highly recommended rating. Randy Richardson, M.D., assistant dean for Medical Education, Creighton University School of Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix, Ariz., co-authored the book.

The awards aim to encourage and reward excellence in medical publishing. Prizes are awarded in 21 categories, with an overall BMA medical book of the year award given from the category winners.
