Creighton Pediatric Therapy Event Discusses Toy Safety

Creighton Pediatric Therapy will offer a Parent’s Night Out event to focus on toy safety at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Creighton Pediatric Therapy in the Lakeside area. The event is free and open to the public.

Kelly Nelson, P.T., D.P.T., P.C.S., a Creighton pediatric physical therapist and Creighton assistant professor of physical therapy, will present with Jessica Niski, P.T., D.P.T., a Creighton pediatric therapy resident.

The event will discuss which holiday toys are best for children, review the milestones of child development and show how they relate to toy use for children up to the age of six. It will also allow parents to brush up on the current toy safety guidelines and learn how to spot “toy troubles”.
