Energy, enthusiasm and efficiency—are three words to describe the University’s freshmen move-in Aug. 16 - 17.
More than 960 freshmen and 45 transfer students moved into the residence halls assisted by 130 volunteers.
The student, faculty and staff volunteers helped to make the process as simple as possible by helping haul boxes, futons and refrigerators to residence hall rooms, with plenty of school spirit.
Even University president Father Lannon got in on the action greeting new students and their parents while they waited in line to move-in.
Local television stations covered some of the action.
