An Ambassadorial Experience from Thailand Topic of Lecture

Creighton University’s International Relations Club/Model United Nations Team and the Asian World Center are hosting the 2013-2014 Distinguished Guest Luncheon presentation, “Diplomatic Challenges at the UN: An Ambassadorial Experience from Thailand,” with Norachit Sinhaseni, ambassador and permanent representative of Thailand to United Nations, at noon, Friday March 1, in the ballroom of the Mike and Josie Harper Center.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public begins at 12:30 p.m.

Prior to being appointed ambassador to Thailand, Sinhaseni was Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2007. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Ambassador to New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga. In 2001 he was appointed Director General in the Department of Information and Foreign Ministry Spokesman, and later Director General in the Department of East Asian Affairs. From 1999 to 2001.
