The Creighton University Lied Art Gallery presents an installation by Tennessee artist Travis Graves. The installation titled “Paper Forest” opens Feb. 8 with a talk by the artist at 5 p.m. followed by a reception until 8 p.m.

“Paper Forest” is a site-specific installation that explores the tense relationship between consumerist society and the world’s natural resources through the use of Kaft-paper trees, stumps and sawdust.

The exhibit runs through March 27 and is free and open to the public from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The Gallery is also open during special events in the Lied Center for the Performing Arts. The Lied Gallery will be closed during the University’s spring break, March 9-17.
