Creighton Listed as Top College in Forbes Ranking

The annual Forbes college rankings are out and Creighton University has made the list of the 650 best undergraduate institutions that focus on quality of teaching, great career prospects, graduation levels and low levels of debt.  The University was ranked overall at 134. According to Forbes the list reflects "output" over "input," with emphasis on ROI: What are students getting out of college? The rankings are prepared by the Center for College Affordability and Productivity.

The rankings are based on five general categories?post-graduate success, student satisfaction, student debt; four-year graduation rates; and competitive awards, achieving prestigious scholarships and fellowships.

  • Creighton has graduation outcomes significantly higher than any other institution. More than 96 percent of Creighton graduates are employed or attending graduate/professional school within six months of graduation. The national average is between 70 and 80 percent.
  • Students earn recognition from national academic honor societies and receive such prestigious awards as the Fulbright, as well as Goldwater, James Madison Foundation and National Science Foundation fellowships.
