The College of Business at Creighton University was ranked second on PayScale’s 2013 ROI report for business majors.
The PayScale survey showed that a Creighton University College of Business graduate could expect cumulative earnings of $1,758,000 over 30 years, after college costs are subtracted. The University of Pennsylvania was first in the survey with Notre Dame third followed by the University of California-Berkley and Fairfield University. “I’m not surprised by the survey results as students in Creighton’s College of Business are given a hands-on educational experience from their freshman year until they graduate with many opportunities for actual business experience through internships and club involvement,” said Anthony Hendrickson, Ph.D., dean of the College of Business.
The Payscale.com ROI ranking is intended to help students and parents evaluate the "payback" value of a student's undergraduate degree. In the ranking, ROI was determined by comparing the cost of attending a school with how much its graduates earn.
