IRHG Hosts 19th Annual Creighton Clean-up

Creighton University Inter Residence Hall Governmentís Creighton Clean-up is set for April 13. The event draws more than 400 students, faculty and staff each year. They raise several thousand dollars during the daylong service event.

Creighton Clean-up consists of a day of service and a month of fundraising for and with a variety of Omaha community agencies. This event is an opportunity to live out the Jesuit value of "Men and Women for and With Others," as participants reach out to the Omaha community to build positive relationships and to continually better the community.

After the day of service, all money raised is given to the community partners of Creighton's residence halls. These organizations include: Girls, Inc.; Sienna Francis House; Together, Inc.; Ollie Webb Center; North and South Omaha Boys and Girls Clubs; Seven Oaks of Florence; and Charles E. Lakin Center.

Breakfast and lunch will be served. A sign up with more information will be shared via Creighton Today.
