Relief fund to help Japan, Ecuador

Japan and Ecuador Relief FundIn response to the recent earthquakes in Japan and Ecuador, Creighton University will collect donations to aid those in affected areas.

Creighton’s Asian World Center and the Office of Global Engagement will host briefings about the earthquakes in Ecuador and Japan on April 20 in the Skutt Student Center Ballroom from 10-10:30 a.m. and from 1-1:30 p.m. Further information on ways to contribute to relief funds will be discussed during the sessions.

Donations for Japan will be accepted through the Japan Relief Fund at the Creighton Federal Credit Union. All donations will be sent to Japan through the consulate general of Japan in Chicago. Donations can also be made through the Japan Society here.

Donations for Ecuador can be made through UNICEF’s earthquake relief effort here.
