May 7 to 15, the Remembering Our Fallen memorial will be on display at the Lied Education Center for the Arts on the Creighton campus.

“We must remember these American Heroes and speak their names when we see their family members,” said Bill Williams, co-creator of the memorial and founder of Patriotic Productions, based in Omaha. “We can never forget those who sacrificed everything for our freedom. While this memorial is about those who have died, it was created for the living, to help the families in their grief, while reminding the rest of us of the terrible price paid for our freedom by our current generation of military.”

The Remembering Our Fallen memorial has traveled throughout Nebraska since 2010. Traveling memorials have also taken off in 17 other states, representing about half of American servicemembers lost in combat since Sept. 11, 2001.

Creighton has earned placement as a Military Friendly School, a Military Times Best for Vets College, Military Advanced Education Top College & University and a No. 1 ranking from U.S. News and World Report as Best Colleges for Veterans.
