The Taliban Shuffle has been made into the film “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot,” starring Tina Fey and now in wide release. In humorous but poignant prose, Barker documents the fight against the Taliban over several years, and how she became enmeshed in the culture of the war-torn nations and the ways and means of the American mission there.

A raffle for 20 signed copies of Barker’s book will also take place.

This event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Creighton Student Union and the Creighton EDGE.
