Graduate School seeks competitors for Three Minute Thesis competition

The Creighton University Graduate School is taking part in an international academic competition focused on helping students clearly and succinctly enumerate the research they are doing on their masterís theses or doctoral dissertations.

On Feb. 4 at 10 a.m., Creighton graduate students will take part in the Universityís Three Minute Thesis (3MT) final, a challenge giving masters and doctoral students three minutes to describe their research to a general audience. Winning students will compete at the 2016 Midwest Association of Graduate Schools 72nd annual meeting, April 6-8, in Chicago.

Developed at The University of Queensland in Australia in 2008, the Three Minute Thesis has expanded to more than 200 universities around the globe. To learn more about the program and to watch videos of previous 3MT winners, click here.
