Jewish-Christian scholar to discuss Judaism and the New Testament at Creighton

Kripke CenterAcclaimed Jewish-Christian scholar Rabbi David Fox Sandmel will give his lecture, “What can Christians learn about the New Testament from the Jews?” on April 22 in Harper Center room 3028 at 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Kripke Center, this event is free and open to the public.

Rabbi David Fox SandmelSandmel has served as director of Interfaith Affairs at the Anti-Defamation League since 2014. From 2003-2014, he held the Crown-Ryan Chair in Jewish Studies at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He was the Judaic Scholar at the Institute for Christian & Jewish Studies in Baltimore. Sandmel is also the editor of “Christianity in Jewish Terms” and “Irreconcilable Differences? A Learning Resource for Jews and Christians.”
