Planned power outages Monday, March 7

Two planned power outages will occur the afternoon of Monday, March 7, so Facilities Management and contractors may restore power service to the Data Center and complete rerouting several campus power feeds.

A one-hour outage will occur in the following buildings west of 24th Street beginning at 3:30 p.m.:

• Gallagher Hall
• Kiewit Hall
• Becker Dining Hall
• Humanities
• Hitchcock
• Beirne Research Tower
• Criss I, II, III
• Ignatius House
• Old Gym
• Markoe Hall
• Reinert-Alumni Memorial Library
• Creighton Hall
• St. John’s Church
• Rigge
• Hixson-Lied
• Data Center
• Eppley

A one-hour outage will occur in Davis Square beginning at 6 p.m.

Additional updates will be provided as needed. Supervisors may use their discretion to release staff in the noted buildings should the planned outage affect the remainder of today’s work in their departments.
