Creighton dance brings taste of France to Omaha

The lively French themed program features works from guest choreographers Sandra Organ (former soloist with the Houston Ballet) and Nichol Mason Lazenby, with additional choreography by Creighton dance faculty Patrick Roddy and Patti Zukaitis.  Prepare for a dance along the Seine as Creighton University presents “Vive Paris!” a ballet by the Creighton Dance Company and the Creighton Department of Fine and Performing Arts. This ballet and modern dance program runs Thursday through Saturday, April 7, 8 and 9 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m.

The lively French themed program features works from guest choreographers Sandra Organ (former soloist with the Houston Ballet) and Nichol Mason Lazenby, with additional choreography by Creighton dance faculty Patrick Roddy and Patti Zukaitis. Thirty-five Creighton students will perform in the spring show along with several alumni of the Creighton dance program and selected members of the local dance community.

Tickets are $5 for Creighton students, $15 for seniors and $18 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Lied Education Center for Fine and Performing Arts Box Office at 402-280-1448 or on the box office website.
