WoodmenLife®, Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge to shine Bluejay Blue for Creighton Homecoming

WoodmenLife Tower BlueCreighton Bluejays flocking to Omaha for Homecoming, need to only look for the blue light to find their way back home. Lights around the city of Omaha will turn Creighton blue for Creighton University Homecoming week from Sept. 11-18.

Lights will shine from the heart of Creighton’s campus all the way to the Missouri River, with St. John’s Church, WoodmenLife Tower and the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge all turning Bluejay Blue on various nights throughout the week to celebrate Creighton throughout the Omaha community.

“Creighton is thrilled to partner with the City of Omaha Parks, Recreation and Public Property department as well as WoodmenLife, to celebrate the University and all of the outstanding alumni,” said Ronna Sears-Fritz, director of affinity programs. “We hope the blue lights reminds each Bluejay that they can always call Creighton home.”

From Sept. 11-18, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge will be go blue. The WoodmenLife Tower will be draped in blue light on Sept. 16 and 17. St. John’s Church on Creighton’s campus will shine blue through the entirety of Homecoming. Lights on Creighton’s campus are being set up by FadeUp Design Group of Omaha.
