Creighton University staging production of Legally Blonde

OMAHA, Neb. (March 18, 2019) – On March 27 through 31 Creighton University’s Department of Fine and Performing Arts is staging Legally Blonde The Musical, which tells the story of Elle Woods (played by Torisa Walker), a sorority woman attending Harvard Law School with the hope of rekindling a love and proving her worth.

The musical is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Motion picture, Legally Blonde.

Other Creighton students in the cast include Talia Fittante as Paulette, Jill Zmolek as Vivienne, Mia White as Pilar and Ben Adams as Warner. Amy Lane, PhD, is directing the show, with musical direction by Stephen Sheftz and choreography by Megan Torbert.

Legally Blonde the Musical will run March 27 through 30 at 7:30 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on March 31. All performances take place on the Mainstage in the Lied Education Center for the Arts at Creighton.
