Creighton University recognized in The Princeton Review’s Guide to Green Colleges

Creighton University archCreighton University has been recognized in The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges: 2021 Edition, which recognizes Creighton University for its strong commitments to green practices and programs.

The 416 colleges profiled in the guide were chosen out of 695 schools surveyed by Princeton Review in 2019–2020, recognizing the schools' academic offerings and initiatives, campus policies and practices, and green-career preparation for students.

“Each year more and more high school seniors are interested in sustainability, said Nick McCreary, director of Sustainability at Creighton. “We are answering their call by writing a new sustainability plan that will transform Creighton into a regional sustainability champion by 2028.”

To be featured in the guide, schools must receive a green rating of 80 or higher. The Princeton Review has published this guide annually since 2010 as a guide for environmentally-minded college applicants.
