As a first-year student, you will be assigned to a 100 level section of RSP. The one-credit course will be led by a Faculty Preceptor, who will advise you throughout the first year, and a Decurion, a junior or senior student peer academic leader. Approximately 15-20 other first-year students will be in the section with you. The course will cover such topics as the value of a Jesuit liberal arts education, academic and student integrity, obstacles to learning, and learning strategies and opportunities. In addition, you will read and discuss a book selected by the Faculty Preceptor that addresses self-exploration and self-discovery.
