HOW TO ADD, DROP, OR WITHDRAW FROM COURSES

SPRING 2020 WITHDRAWAL DEADLINES EXTENDED

Creighton has extended withdrawal deadlines for Spring 2020 Undergraduate and Graduate courses, as follows:

  • Courses running January 15-May 9: Friday, May 1.
  • 8-week courses running March 16-May 9: Tuesday, May 5.
  • 7-week courses running March 16-May 2: Tuesday, April 28.

Professional schools have separate rules and deadlines.  Contact your Dean's Office for details.

WITHDRAWING FROM COURSES

When you withdraw from a course, you receive a grade of "W" for that course. See the Creighton catalog for details.

Withdrawal deadlines depend on the start date and length of the course you are taking. See the academic calendar for your school for details or contact the Registrar's Office.

To withdraw from a course, complete the "Withdrawal" section of the Change of Registration Request for your school. Take it to your advisor or Dean's Office as instructed on the form.

If you wish to withdraw from the University contact:

  • For Undergraduate Students: Mary Ann Tietjen, Interim Director of Retention.
  • For Graduate, Medical, Dental, Pharmacy and Health Professions, and Law Students:  Your Dean's Office.
