Veteran's Educational Benefits

As an approved institution for federal education benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Creighton University welcomes veterans and their eligible dependents.   All degree programs in each of Creighton's nine colleges/schools are approved for students to receive VA educational benefits.  The Yellow Ribbon Program is available only for students enrolled through Creighton's University College.

Students must first establish eligibility for education benefits from the VA. Apply online at the GI Bill Application Website:  http://www.gibill.va.gov/

After receiving approval by the VA, students should submit to the Registrar Creighton's VA Certification Information form along with a copy of their VA Certificate of Eligibility (or Notice of Basic Eligibility). Upon receipt of both documents, Creighton will submit enrollment information for the upcoming term to the VA. Submission of enrollment for subsequent terms will continue until the student ends his/her Creighton program or the VA educational benefits expire, whichever comes first.

For information pertaining to your VA education benefits, contact the VA at: http://www.gibill.va.gov/  or 1-888-GIBILL1
