Yellow Ribbon Program

Creighton University is proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides financial assistance to eligible Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill) students for a portion of the difference between net tuition and fees and the amount of reimbursement approved by the VA.

This year Creighton will accept up to 100 Yellow Ribbon-eligible students on a first-come, first-served basis, who are enrolled in Creighton's University College. Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree or certificate program in University College. The Yellow Ribbon Program is not available to students enrolled in other divisions of the University.

For 2012-13, reimbursement for tuition and fees under Chapter 33 is made directly to the University at a rate (rate effective August 1, 2012) not to exceed $18,077.50 per academic year [Fall 2012, Spring 2013, Summer 2013]. Creighton has agreed to provide Yellow Ribbon financial assistance up to $7,837 for the academic year, with the VA matching that contribution.
