FY22 Collections Changes

Faculty were invited to engage with the University Libraries team in the FY22 collections decision-making process during the second half of the Fall2020 semester. Through this process, we received feedback on a list of proposed discontinuations and received recommendations for new resources to add to the collection. This page provides a summary of the changes made to the collections for the upcoming fiscal year.

Journal Collections Deselection Process

The University Libraries invite faculty to participate in our data-driven decision-making process for eliminating duplicate and low-use print content from the libraries' collections. Driven by plans to merge the Health Sciences Library collections and personnel into the Reinert Library space by the end of 2023, journal content deselection is the first phase of the project. The second phase, print book deselection, will begin in the Fall.

The list is available for your review at This site contains explanations of the process and data elements, as well as an online form to submit your feedback.

We ask that you provide feedback no later than June 1, 2021.
