Information for Students
The Reinert-Alumni Library's E-Reserves system includes course materials that have been uploaded or linked for you to read or view online. You will need the password from your instructor to access e-reserve materials.
Your instructor may assign you to use books, DVDs, or other items kept "on reserve" in the Library. Reserve materials are shelved behind the Circulation desk and you can look them up using the Course Reserves tab in JaySearch (above).
The best method to look up items on reserve is by your instructor's name, although you can also use the course name or number. Please present your university ID card to check out reserve items, and note that overdue fines apply at a rate of 25 cents per hour or $1 per day. Depending on the item, loan periods are: 2 hours, 2 hours/overnight (starting one hour before closing), 4 hours, 3 days, or 7 days.
The staff at the Circulation and Reserves Services counter are always ready to help you locate course reserves. If you are faculty or teaching staff interested in course reserves, information for instructors is also available.
