The Reinert-Alumni Library is pleased to provide Creighton students who are enrolled at a distance the same privileges accorded to residential students. We make every reasonable accommodation to overcome the obstacles presented by distance for those with a valid ID from Creighton University Card Services.
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need help or have a question. You can phone, email, chat, or text us during regular hours (CST). The Reinert-Alumni Library's Research Toolbox is also available for tutorials, tip sheets, and other tools to help you learn how to use the Library effectively. The Library Catalog (CLIC) and library databases also provide FAQs, "help" windows, or tutorials.
Find Library Resources
Finding books, articles, and other resources from the CU Libraries is easy with JaySearch, our new discovery tool that launched in May, 2016. This state-of-the-art system is designed to be simple and intuitive, but please don't hesitate to contact us if your search is unsuccessful!
Students are also encouraged to explore the library Research Guides. The Research Guides (and Program Guides) include specialized databases and other recommended resources for each academic area, as well as contact information for the librarian who can offer professional research assistance in that subject.
The JaySearch library system offers thousands of e-books available online. We can also mail books in hard copy to distance students living outside the Omaha metro area free of charge. You can return books in the same postage-paid mailer in which they arrive. Note that the Library does not supply textbooks or other required texts.
