Creighton University Names Director of Biostatistics
Xiang (pronounced shi-ang) Fang has been named Director of Biostatistics for the Office of Research and Compliance at Creighton University.
Fang holds a master’s degree in statistics from University of Alaska-Fairbanks (2003) and will complete a doctorate in statistics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (expected 2009). He has more than seven years of experience working with analytics and is proficient in statistical analysis, including linear model, mixed model, experimental design, stochastic model, multivariate statistics, and sampling methods.
In the newly created position, Xiang will be responsible for providing overall statistical support, data processing, study design, and data analysis for all Creighton University faculty.
