LB595 Research Program Development Grant

LB595 Cancer and Smoking Disease Research Program Development Grants are to assist full-time Health Science faculty develop new research projects in cancer and smoking related diseases that would ultimately be competitive for extramural funding. These grants are for $60,000/year for a total of $120,000 and a maximum of two years.


  • Investigators must be either full-time Creighton University Health Sciences tenured or tenure-track faculty or resident/research assistant professor.  Part-time faculty including those who hold contributed service, special rank or visiting designations are not eligible for this program.

Budget Restrictions: The following are not allowable expenses: faculty salaries, space, travel, repairs, renovations and indirect costs.
