ANNUAL OPPORTUNITIES: 

Health Future Foundation (HFF) Faculty Development Program is a seed grant program for full-time Health Science faculty to develop new research projects.  Requests may be submitted for a maximum of $20,000 over a two year project period.   Application Guidelines available in February

Nebraska Tobacco Settlement Biomedical Research Development Program (LB692):  New Initiatives Grants are for one year $100,000 seed grants for full-time Health Science faculty to develop new avenues of investigation. The goal of this funding mechanism is to enhance the ability of faculty to develop sufficient preliminary data for successful NIH grant applications.  Application Guidelines available in March

Nebraska Tobacco Settlement Biomedical Research Development Program (LB692):  Promoting Translational Research Grants are to promote academic partnerships in translational research. Seed grant funds for one year in the amount of $50,000 are available to full-time Health Science faculty to foster collaborative research projects involving one PhD and one MD as Co-Principal Investigators.  Application Guidelines available in March

Creighton University Cancer and Smoking Disease Research Program (LB595) Development Grants are to assist full-time Health Science faculty develop new research projects in cancer and smoking related diseases that would ultimately be competitive for extramural funding.  Requests may be submitted for a maximum of $80,000 over a two year project period.  Application Guidelines available in March.
