Human Research Protection Program Training Requirements
Creighton University requires that all individuals working with human subjects in research complete a training/education program in the protection of human subjects. Select the category that best describes your role:
Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator, Sub-Investigator, Faculty doing research in a Biomedical area
Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator, Sub-Investigator, Faculty doing research in a Social/Behavioral area and needs HIPAA for Researcher training
Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator, Sub-Investigator, Faculty doing research in a Social/Behavioral area
Research Staff, including Students, or anyone else listed on an IRB protocol in a Biomedical area
Research Staff, including Students, or anyone else listed on an IRB protocol in a Social/Behavioral area and needs HIPAA for Researcher training
Research Staff, including Students, or anyone else listed on an IRB protocol in a Social/Behavioral area
Individuals who are not listed on an IRB protocol, but who maybe privy to Protected Health Information
IRB Training Certification must be renewed every three (3) years. To renew IRB Training, complete the CITI Refresher Course.
