Dr. Gail Jensen

Gail Jensen, PhD, FAPTA, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Research and Dean of the Graduate School, fosters and provides oversight of the research enterprise for the academic affairs area. Dr. Jensen is an Professor of Physical Therapy and a Faculty Associate in the Center for Health Policy and Ethics. She teaches ethics in both the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and the EdD program in Interdisciplinary Leadership.

 

 

Dr. Thomas Murray

Dr. Thomas Murray, PhD, Associate Vice President for Health Science Research and Associate Dean for Research in the School of Medicine, fosters and provides oversight of the research enterprise for the health sciences area. Dr. Murray is a molecular pharmacologist and chair of the Department of Pharmacology.

 

 

 

Kathleen Taggart

Kathleen J. Taggart, Associate Vice President for Research and Compliance, oversee Research and Compliance Services, which ensures that all regulatory requirements relating to externally funded research and educational activities are met. Programs that fall under the umbrella of Research and Compliance Services include Grants Administration, IRB, IACUC, IBC, Clinical Research, and Conflict of Interest. Ms. Taggart also serves as the Research Compliance Officer, and the Creighton University Institutional Official.

Research Personnel are expected to report any known or suspected noncompliant conduct related to research or sponsored program activities conducted and/or approved through Creighton University. The confidential Research Compliance Hotline (402-280-3200) is available for any individual who wishes to remain anonymous and/or has found other available reporting mechanisms to be ineffective. Research Personnel may also address their research compliance-related questions or concerns to Kathy Taggart, Associate Vice President for Research and Compliance, at 402-280-2360.
