Jaypackers!
We had 35 volunteers from CU staff, families and students who served as "Jaypackers" filling backpacks last August 8th to help complete our campaign. We would like to thank them for their service to this great campaign!
CU Rules--We have met our goal!!!
The Staff Advisory Council has collected 5,281 rulers towards our goal of 5,000 from CU staff, students, faculty and administrators to benefit the 2011 Salvation Army Back-to-School Backpack Campaign. We would also like to thank Blanc Burgers + Bottles for helping to support this challenge. UNO and College of St. Mary's joined Creighton in this year's challenge collecting highlighters and erasers for this same effort. All were successful in exceeding their goals! UNO collected 5,490 highlighters and CSM collected 7,700 erasers. We would like to congratulate them on their successful drives! Many, many thanks to all at Creighton, UNO and CSM for another successful effort providing for this important community need!
