Alpha Sigma Nu (ΑΣΝ): The Honor Society of Jesuit Colleges & Universities
Welcome to Creighton University's Alpha Sigma Nu Chapter! We are the second oldest Alpha Sigma Nu Chapter and are honored to showcase Creighton's commitment to service, academics, and loyalty.
Our 2014 Class of Inductees will be honored on Saturday, February 22nd at 10am in the auditorium of the Harper Center on Creighton University's campus. All are invited to help celebrate our student and honored inductees.
Alpha Sigma Nu (ΑΣΝ) advances the core principles of Jesuit education—scholarship, loyalty and service. The Society acknowledges, awards and inspires a select group of students who distinguish themselves with respect to these principles while attending Jesuit institutions of higher education. ΑΣΝ also honors others who have distinguished themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service through their intellectual, civic, religious, professional or commercial pursuits. Our mission is to understand, appreciate and promote the ideals of Jesuit education - opening minds, doors and hearts to a lifelong journey in wisdom, faith and service.
Beginning in the Fall of 2012, Alpha Sigma Nu was joined by a second honors society for the University, Phi Beta Kappa. While requirements are different for each honors society, qualified students may be elected to either or both organization.
