Fitness Workshops

You can register for Fall 2016 Fitness Workshops here. Prices range from $25-$40 per workshop, be sure to check the price of the specific workshop you are interested in. Group Fitness passes are not good for fitness workshops.

Elite Performance with Kevin

Elite Performance with Kevin

When: Tuesday & Thursday, 5:30-6:30 PM, September 6-October 13
Where: Rasmussen Center

Cost: $40

Come join former Division I Baseball player and current Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Kevin Giordano for a workout so intense that it can only be described asEXTREME! With the use of various types of equipment such as 35- 175 lb. tires, medicine balls, weighted sleds, battle ropes, and Kettle bells, this class will push your limits and challenge you in ways you’ve never experienced. However, this is not your typical boot camp class. Elite Performance class is designed to strengthen participants in all areas of athletic performance through the use of several modes of training including functional training, power lifting, speed/ agility training, and much more to increase speed, strength, endurance, and overall athletic conditioning.

Express Boot Camp with Brittany

Express Boot Camp with Brittany

When: Wednesday & Friday, 12:30-1 PM, September 14-October 28

Where: Rasmussen Center

Cost: $25

Who says you need to spend hours in the gym to see results? In this 30 min Boot Camp Express Class Personal Trainer, Brittany Baldwin, will deliver an intense total body workout that will challenge your overall fitness and increase muscular/ cardiovascular endurance as well as abdominal strength. During this 6 week session, participants will gain experience using a variety of equipment including classic weights, kettle bells, TRX suspension trainers, battle ropes, and much more. Express Boot Camp is suitable for all ages and all fitness levels.

 

TRX & Kettlebell Fusion with Kevin

TRX & Kettlebell Fusion with Kevin

When: Mondays & Wednesdays. 5-6 PM, September 5-October 12

Where: Rasmussen Center

Cost: $40

TRX suspension trainers are an excellent tool for increasing total body strength because they allow users to deliberately change their center of mass, which constantly challenges the body throughout each range of motion. When paired with kettlebells, this match up delivers a powerful fusion of cardio and strength training that will transform and sculpt the entire body. Participants of all fitness levels are welcome!
