NAACP College Chapter
Mission Statement
The Creighton University College Chapter of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) is part of the College division of the National Organization of the NAACP. The purpose of the National NAACP is to improve the political, educational, social, and economic status of minority groups; to eliminate racial prejudice; and to keep the public aware of adverse effects of racial discrimination. In an effort to uphold these ideals of the National NAACP, the objective of the Creighton University College Chapter of the NAACP will be to serve as a voice for all studnets of Creighton University through campus and community involvement; by informing students of problems affecting minority groups; through collective coalition building with all student groups for the promotion of service and justice as well as an appreciation for ethnic and cultural diversity.
