Reason for being a Peer Educator: Making the transition from high school to college can be a rough experience for many college students. I wanted to join PEAC to help students adapt to the college life by informing them of services provided by the University, as well as invite them to attend special programs that focus on everyday aspects of the college lifestyle. These topics may include health and nutrition, stress management, maintaining relationships with family and friends, as well as developing a positive self-esteem and body image. By promoting awareness in these areas, PEAC as an organization can improve the overall quality of the college experience for students all accross Creighton's campus.
