What is consent? How do you define consent? Do you pay attention to verbal and non-verbal cues from others? How do YOU give consent in different situations?
The VIP Center invites you to talk about these questions, watch some video clips, and discuss ways to communicate about consent. This program is great for all audiences, as the issue of consent covers many everyday situations. How do you know your friend wants a hug? How do you effectively tell a friend that you don't want to dance, even as they pull you out onto the dance floor? How do you let your date know that it's ok to hold your hand?
If you didn't get a chance to sign-up yet, walk-ins are welcome to attend! Bring a friend and join us for some fun conversation and delicious Valentine's Day snacks!
This program is open to all Creighton students!
