The Student Activities Office has various Greek-specific programs for Creighton's Greek community. Each of these programs meets a specific need within the Greek community, and seeks to supplement the holistic growth and development that Creighton hopes to provide each student.
Emerging Greek Leaders Program
Based on Chris Lowney's Heroic Leadership model, EGLP seeks to provide up-and-coming leaders in the Greek community with opportunities to discover their own strenghths and styles in leadership. By addressing the values, major issues, and challenges of fraternity and sorority life, EGLP helps frame the leadership experience for students, and set them up for success in their roles within Creighton's chapters.

The Greek Measure
The Greek Measure is a program that provides chapters with a framework for success. The program sets minimum standards of attainment for each chapter in eight distinct areas of Greek Life: chapter leadership and governance, financial responsibility, scholarship and academics, membership development, new member recruitment and education, service and philanthropy, chapter advisor and alumni relations, and social responsibility / risk management.
By meeting and exceeding expecations in these areas per the Greek Measure, chapters will have both opportunities to assess needs and areas for growth, as well as gain significant recognition for their successes.
Please contact Margaret Zimmer Assistant Director for Greek Life, if you have any questions regarding these progrrams.
