Organization Abbreviation

Mission Statement
The Creighton University Student Occupational Therapy Association's (CUSOTA) primary mission is to uphold the focus of Occupational Therapy among its members. The focus of Occupational Therapy is to provide for its patients meaningful activities that will help them maintain a balance between work, leisure, self-care, play and education. This balance is maintained to help the patient become the most healthy and maximally independent person possible. CUSOTA will uphold this focus among its members by providing educational programs at its meetings, offering community service activities, scheduling play and leisure social functions, and supporting Occupational Therapy education for the community through our Explorer Post, OT Fair, and various other programs.
