Health Law Society

Mission Statement
The Health Law Society is an organization dedicated to raising the awareness of health law issues at Creighton University School of Law.  The Society is dedicated to exploring career opportunities in healthcare law by enhancing the understanding of legal issues and its involvement with the healthcare field.  This field includes the area of medical malpractice law, development of bio-ethical issues, corporate healthcare, health policies, medical technology, food and drug law, mass tort litigation, patent law, HMOs, disability rights issues, elder care, and comparative health systems.  By hosting events bringing academics and practitioners together, the Health Law Society hopes to provide a better understanding of the law's role in healthcare and the necessity of providing effective and efficient care to our community.
