Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Club

Mission
The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Club for Creighton University School of Medicine will be a leader in assisting Creighton medical students in acquiring means to enhance their medical education, practice knowledge, leadership skills, research opportunities in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This organization will serve as an outlet to interact and network with practicing physiatrists and gain knowledge about the variety of areas in which these physicians practice. Our purpose will be not only to serve the Creighton community, but to reach out to the greater Omaha area with dedication to service, volunteerism, and a spirit of altruism. This club will serve to not only advance its members ability to serve patients but the general public at large. By doing so, this organization will mirror Creighton?s overall Jesuit value of providing an integrating vision of the world that arises out of a knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. This organization seeks to inspire medical students to not only treat diseases of nerve, muscle, and bone, but to impassion students to assimilate the holistic attitude of treating the whole person. Our core value will be to honor the Jesuit tradition of Cura Personalis mirrored in the overall philosophy of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
